La Fusca Club

Founded in 2007, we are Guatemala’s most traditional VW club. Our group welcomes anyone passionate about VW cars or a specific VW model.

It doesn’t matter if you don’t have your dream car yet, La Fusca opens its doors to you.

Our club encourages members to carry out preventive maintenance, builds friendships, promotes responsible driving, and a passion for restoring these wonderful classics.

Timeline

  1. 2002The restoration of a 1979 Brazilian-built VW begins. Hence the name "Fusca".
  2. 2007The blog is born and the La Fusca club is founded.
  3. 2008The website and forum launch, with members from Central America, Mexico, South America and Spain.
  4. 2009First Bug Camp, the annual three-day gathering.
  5. 2020The La Fusca Garage series debuts on YouTube.
  6. 2024La Hora de la Fusca arrives, with stories of owners and their VWs.
